Internships
Eligibility
Applicants must have recently graduated or be currently working toward a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Printmaking, Fine Arts, Art Education, Graphic Design, English, Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, Grant Writing, Non-Profit/Business, etc. (related degrees please apply). Applicants must be well-organized, friendly, prompt to work, and communicate with RCP associates on a regular basis. All applicants must have weekday and/or weekend availability with a minimum of 8-30 hours per week. Weekly hours will vary based on school internship requirements, applicant schedule, and availability.
Benefits
Our credit-only internship provides a great experience. At RCP you get a trade for hours during your internship for future use of our studio and equipment. Students/graduates will also be able to use the trade at $10 an hour towards Rubber City Prints Workshops. You get to sit in as assistants during workshops and learn how printmaking can influence the future of your designing career. You will gain access to training on teaching, marketing, social media, and non-profit background business. All interns that complete an internship will be able to return at any time with Key Access to complete studio hours.
Responsibilities

Assist in educating the public on memberships and available opportunities

Assist volunteers, board members, instructors, and the community

Qualifications

Experience preferred in any of the following: Photoshop, PowerPoint, In Design, Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media Posting/Marketing, Google Drive, etc.

Familiarity with office management processes and procedures

Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multi-task
